DK Saddle Western Cinches
The DK Saddlery Western Cinch is an anatomically engineered piece of equipment designed by master saddle fitter Danny Kroetch to prioritize the horse's biomechanical freedom. Unlike traditional straight cinches that can restrict movement and breathing, this cinch is built to work with the horse's physiology during high-performance exercise.
Key Performance Features
- 7-Inch Weight-Bearing Surface: The center of the cinch features a broad, 7-inch firm surface area. This wider profile maximizes pressure distribution across the sternum, maximum support, significantly reducing "hot spots" and preventing the discomfort associated with narrow, high-pressure straps.
- Anatomic Cutouts: Specifically designed with deep cutouts for the tricep and elbow, this cinch eliminates the interference and "pinching" that often occurs at the girth line. By providing clearance for the tricep muscle, it allows the horse to reach forward with a full, unrestricted stride.
Dual Heavy-Duty Elastics: Equipped with extra-heavy-duty elastic on both sides, the cinch mimics the natural expansion and contraction of the horse’s rib cavity.
